Dr. Valeria Alterman, PhD
Dr. Valeria Alterman earned her PhD from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida. Her research and teaching interests relate to organizations’ human resource management practices and their effects on employee attitudes and behaviors.
Recognizing that the population is aging, most of her research focuses on how human resource practices can support the age-diverse workforce and continued participation of older workers. She also studies how organizations’ compensation practices affect employees’ commitment levels.
